Absolutely true! Not that they eat a lot before the practice, as that would not be effective simply, but rather after the training. The water simply drains the energy and makes you feel weak after the good swimming session. Therefore, the very next time you see a big guy eating an enormous amount of food, he may be swimmer, not the gym freak.
Swimmers do shave their legs
A lot of people think this is a matter of fashion, but it is far from fashion. Although this is a bit unconventional and odd to some people, swimmers simply must shave their legs. The reason is behind the traction – when they have hairs on the legs, it simply slows them down and obstructs their movement in the water.
